How to Make a Hammock for Your Pet Rock

Is your pet rock tired, can't construct a bed well then make a hammock.

Take an old sock and cut it in half.

Now cut down the middle.

Now pinch two corners of your sock and measure where and how you want to fit it in your pet rock's house (you should have it in the corner of your pet rock's house for the hanging effect).

Where you have pinched the corners of your progressing hammock take the screws and push one through the sock and screw it into your pet rock's house.

If you have done both screws just put your method of protecting the sharp bit together and... your hammock should be complete. Now put your pet rock in and let him/her enjoy!

Tips

• there are other ways of making a hammock so experiment with different ways,
• who knows, you could make a tropical island for your rock with a hammock in between two palm trees.

• be careful when dealing with tools and screws if you prick yourself it will hurt.

Things You'll Need

• an old (WASHED) sock
• 2 screws
• bluetack or something to cover the sharp point of the screw
• scissors
• your pet rock's house (make space, you shall be using a corner of your pet rock's house to construct it)
• pet rock
