Have you ever thought of taking your teddy bear/s or other pet teddies on planes or ships but had that fear of them being sick, frightened or homesick? Well read on to find out how to make your teddy as comfortable as you can...
Find a little suitcase or bag to pack teddy's belongings in. Remember to take the clothes and pills needed. Let teddy chose them.
Talk to teddy carefully about the trip.
Calm and comfort him/her as much as you can during the flight/boat trip.
Cuddle or stroke him/her and tell them about what you will do when you arrive there (the country you are going to).
Give teddy pills and/or medicine if needed.
When you eventually arrive, have fun with your teddy bear.
Tips
- Ask teddy what he/she wants to wear before the trip so he/she would feel comfortable.
- Show teddy the hotel, B&B, etc. you are staying in so he/she can get used to it.
- Show teddy the attractions too.
- It would be helpful to put a dog tag on your stuffed animal,so that if they get lost they can be shipped home.
Warnings
- Don't throw, play catch or torture teddy in any way, or abuse him/her either. This may lead to injuries.
- Don't lose teddy in the country, or he/she'll feel lost, lonely and scared and you may never see you beloved pet again!
